The Biggest Change will be Having a Leader

Wow, has it really been 10 months of silence on Snips... My how time flies when you get a new job, and revert to workaholic status.

This seems to be a good time to stick a toe back in the water.

My snip of reality this February 12th 2008 is this: For the first time in my lifetime, I feel we have the potential to have a true Leader in the White House, not just a politician, manager, partisan, etc.

And that leader is Barack Obama.

And if you want to know what a Hillary Clinton Presidency will look like, just take a look at her campaign today. Falling to the depths of dirty politics, unprofessional and immature behavior, calculating, phony, whining, politicking, favor-calling, etc. In other words... more and more of the crap we're all (hopefully) tired of.

Barack Obama is the future - and we, as a country and a people, need him now in our present.

Take a look around fellow Democrats and Independents - he's the real deal. Don't squander this once in a lifetime moment.

Let's just hope my home state of Ohio doesn't screw this one up too.

As a follow-on: please read this great post by Erin Kotecki Vest. If I had to express why I hope my fellow voters will move to support Barack Obama, I couldn't do it better than this (except the part about being a big Hillary fan, which I personally am not).
